Something for all the family: MSC Euribia

As a family, holidays are a luxury that can really break the bank. When you factor in travel costs, hotels, food, drinks, snacks, trips, and taxis, the cost soon mounts up. This is why I find cruises the best way to travel as a family, in style.

MSC Cruises has everything we look for in a family holiday, and then some. Whether it's a staycation or somewhere further afield, we have never been disappointed with our trips.

My boys are now at the age where space, privacy, and independence are absolute must- haves, which is one of the reasons I love cruises now. After a day of familiarising ourselves with the layout, I can let them roam freely on board, whilst knowing that they're safe and living their best life. Whether that's enjoying the cinema, the huge waterpark, and pools, or all of the gaming and VR options, there's so much they can do that means I'm free to sip a cocktail made by a robot bartender and unwind in style.

MSC's latest Ship: MSC Euribia has a range of cabins so you can choose just how cosy or spacious you'd like yours to be - personally, the cabin suites are my favourite, two interconnected cabins that give the grownups their own space whilst letting the boys feel a little grown up too. We appreciate family time, but I am in no hurry to bunk up with three noisy males in a single cabin.

It may feel counterintuitive for trying to holiday on a budget, but going all-inclusive will likely save you money overall. Drinks and snacks soon add up, especially with a teenager who is always on the go and consuming roughly 5000 calories a day. The other plus side is paying for that at the start means no bills along the trip!

There are lots of good cruise lines out there, but there's a reason MSC top the list for me - they're incredibly child friendly and help parents get the best out of their holidays and do so affordably. With their latest ship the MSC Euribia, Children under 2 years cruise free, kids up to the age of 11 are charged a reduced fare from £119pp, and rates for children aged 12-17 start from £119pp. Prices are available all year round when sharing a cabin with two full-paying adults.

All activities for kids are free - minus a small fee for kids to use the machines in the gaming area including an f1 simulator, virtual reality games, interactive cinema, and so much more. As a mother as well as a travel blogger, family fun doesn't always mean fun together, which is why their huge range of independent activities and clubs for kids fits so well for us - the kids are thoroughly entertained leaving you time to go relax and unwind without fear as your little ones are in the best possible hands, whether that's with the baby club Chicco, the youth centre, or the teen club exclusive space.

Travel doesn't just come with a financial cost, it also comes with an environmental cost, and if this is as important to you as it is to me, then that's all the more reason to book with MSC, as they truly go above and beyond in minimising their impact, whilst maximising on fun!

Planning can be confusing especially if you're new to the cruise world, and that's where the incredible customer services team comes in handy. They're always happy to chat with you whether that's before or after booking, and will help you get what you want from your holiday. I've holidayed with many different companies and operators by now, and MSC beats them all because each and every one of them loves what they do and love making your trip memorable.
