Could these be the most expensive beach toys? Ok maybe not the most expensive beach toys on earth and they’re not etched in real gold BUT these are quite possibly the COOLEST beach toys on the planet.

Quut (pronounced: cute) kindly sent us a lovely variety of beach toys to road test on our 3 week visit to Mauritius.

Quut was founded by Belgian design agency PARS PRO TOTO in 2012. With more than 25 years of experience and 20 collective children among the staff’s families, the agency decided to take matters into their own hands after lamenting the poor-quality beach toys on the market. Lead by a team of designers and engineers, Quut’s beach toys are super durable and incredibly clever: making beach play fun for both children and parents.

We were absolutely THRILLED when our parcel arrived containing the quirkiest, most colourful beach toys we’ve ever seen. Carter literally squealed in excitement!

As we arrived at the stunning Long Beach, Mauritius with our snazzy beach toys in tow, we knew we were in for a holiday of a lifetime. Soft powdery beaches, palm trees, stunning scenery, we had arrived!

The boys wanted to head to the beach right away, (struggling for word) me fumbling around in our suitcases for the beach toys, the unpacking can wait!

The envy of the resort, we headed to the beach with our Quut toys, ready to create the sandcastle of ALL sandcastles and the Alto sandcastle maker didn’t disappoint. We made the PERFECT sandcastle within minutes. Carter loved using the Ballo Bucket to carry the water from the sea.

Watching the boys play on the beach, there was no squabbling, no tantrums, just 2 brothers having fun in one of the most beautiful places on earth, I knew we had arrived.

We spent the following weeks playing with the amazing selection of toys from the Scoppi Shovel which doubles as a sand sifter to the Cana Watering Can for splashing Papa in the pool (sorry Dad)

Whilst the Quut toys are a slightly bigger investment than your standard seaside bucket and spade but the VALUE the toys offer is unrivalled. The quality alone really do speak for themselves and let’s face it, we all want to make more sustainable choices these days but the investment is the most worthwhile when you see the countless hours of fun they provide! In fact it’s the first thing we now pack for our trips!
